When invoices are set up to go to an alternate payment address, but then a user selects some of the invoices to be cut on a separate check (through alternate payee), the address defaults to the vendor's primary address and the issued check goes to the primary address (even though both the invoice and the pre-payment register indicate that the payment was going to an alternate location). See attached file with screen shots explaining this issue.
Would like to see the address properly defaulting on the alternate payee screen OR there being some indicator or warning to the end-user that the invoice is set up to be paid to an alternate payment address and that the alternate payee is OVERWRITING that. Regardless, the pre-payment register should not indicate that it is being paid to the alternate payment address when the check is actually issued to the vendor's primary address.
