T&M -summarize invoices from POs

Invoices received in Accounts Payable via an open purchase order print in detail in the T&M module.  We can have an invoice with 30+ line items.  

It would be nice if there is a feature to suppress that detail, and show a single line item with the invoice number, PO #, and total invoice amount.

For one, the level of detail is not needed and the report is longer than necessary.
Secondly, there are times when we list out the detail in the P.O. in a different manner than the invoice from the supplier - in total we received everything, but the break out is different. When explaining it to a customer why the line items in the T&M detail report do not match the suppliers invoice, it sounds like we don't know what we were ordering. Alternatively, we take the time and delete the extra detail line items and adjust the invoice amount to the total invoice.  Not efficient.
