There needs to be a template sooner than later. If you have it for the equipment, then why doesn't it exist for the Fixed Assets?
Pretty much every major ERP allows this, so I have no idea why this isn't the case for Viewpoint Spectrum considering the primary users tend to be in a fixed asset heavy industry
