EVERYONE would benefit!!! These are IRS standard annually updated forms that EVERY entity with EMPLOYEES MUST SUBMIT on a quarterly basis for 941 with Schedule B and annually for 940!! As it is now, you must process as detailed:
Extract data from Spectrum and export to Excel.
If you have confidential payroll, you must extract that information and export it to Excel.
Merge the data from each type of payroll.
Create your your own 941 and Schedule B in Excel.
Download fill-able pdf forms from irs.gov.
Hand key your data into the forms. (These IRS forms are NOT user friendly!!! Whoever created them has very limited knowledge of creating USER-FRIENDLY fill-able forms.)
BOTTOM LINE: The current process is cumbersome, at best. The MAJOR problem exists in the UNSOPHISTICATED process in Spectrum and the resulting enormous potential for errors!!!!!
