Help me get this fixed! Please VOTE!
We would like timecard approvers to filter the unapproved timecards by date and supervisor to review and approve pre timecards (job cost and indirect). Currently the selections button date functionality does not work and time approved in the timecard approval screen approves ALL time entered rather than just the time for the pay period. This creates a problem for employees who have not completed their time entry on a day by locking the pre-time card for the employee and cannot be completed. Spectrum states that this functionality is designed to work for job pre timecards only but I disagree and can't even pull timecards by job for a date range. HELP! My managers need visibility and access to pre-timecards to edit coding. We are currently managing this process by asking employees to use different batch codes, publishing the pre time card report to Adobe Document Cloud and sharing with managers to provide comments and approval. Then payroll has to translate those changes and communicate to the employees to edit their timecard (if hours changes) or payroll manually edits the job costing coding.
Time Card Approval would be an amazing tool if the selections field would filter on all pre time cards entered.
Spectrum quoted 9-15 hours at $250 + annual release update fees.
