Viewpoint and Spectrum are not being EEO compliant nor recognize names that are not typical American length. You need to get with the program and increase the length so that we can put a full employee name in there. 30 Characters is not enough.

All text fields need to have limits removed. When these data are available to be exported in Excel format, there is no reason for limits. Its almost as if they figured it wouldn't fit on a printed report so they shouldn't allow it.
I've seen a number of comments from developers on "The Network" Viewpoint runs, and they state a lot of how things work in Spectrum is based on assumptions they have on our work. Such as, "We figured you wouldn't need that many characters". They need to stop assuming.
