For those clients who are running Spectrum either on Viewpoint's cloud or using ViewpointOne, I am happy to announce that we will be offering single sign on/multi-factor authentication using Microsoft Azure's Active Directory. This will be part of the Spectrum 2020 R2 release.

Quick update:
Now that we are part of Trimble, a publically traded company, we must follow their communication protocols and rules. One of those rules is that we are not allowed to talk about when things from the roadmap will be delivered as it may impact revenue recognition. It is a bummer that we can't talk specifics anymore as it was my favorite part of my role here.
Is there any update to the status of this? Has a technology been selected or has this been abandoned?
As suggested, please enable the use of different single sign-on solutions, such as LDAP, Active Directory and Azure (to name a few). This will also enable those technologies to bring Multi-Factor Authentication(MFA) to your platform. With security being such a critical focus/issue, it is important that this be a high priority for your development team. Thanks.
Please incorporate Azure Active Directory single sign on as an option.
This is one of those conversion issues (meaning our conversion to this too in Aha.) The idea that I'm referencing is already in development, but we are on hold until we finalize the technology we are going to use.
I did not realize that you all don't have access to the idea being worked on. Sorry about that. I have changed the status and behind the scenes have hooked the two records together. (Blame the newbie user!)

Can you point us to the original suggestion that this was a duplicate of, so we can see it's status there? As of now, this is the only one visible as best as I can tell. I've tried a lot of searches, and haven't been able to find anything.

I marked it this was as its a duplicate...and I don't have a way to combine ideas out here.
Viewpoint, as an organization, is working on a single sign-on solution. Once the technology has been selected, it will start to be added to Spectrum, Vista and the other Viewpoint applications.

It is ridiculous and should be embarrassing to Viewpoint that this hasn't already been implemented, and even more so that it is marked as "Will not implement". Other leading construction industry software supports AD Auth, as do most other serious pieces of business software.
