On the "E-Mail Servers" option, you have the ability to add gmail, yahoo, and other non-company standard email servers so that emails can be sent within Spectrum to those email address by Spectrum operators. When I try to use the gmail option, google rejected the login attempt per an email I got (attached) that said: "Google will continue to block sign-in attempts from the app you're using because it has known security problems or is out of date." Google then says in the email I can make my email LESS secure and allow this connection to go through, but it's beyond me why anyone in today's environment would want to sign up for this option. I'm not going to encourage my users to make their gmail or yahoo account less secure.
In today's world, you guys really need to get this email security updated to work seamlessly. We are having tremendous heartburn after moving to the Employee Kiosk due to the hundreds of gmail and yahoo email addresses that can't reset their Spectrum EK passwords on their own.
