Currently, employee email addresses are only included in the first row of the W2 export. This initial row is the Federal and Resident state withholding data. The issue is that when an employee works in multiple states, the email address is NOT included in subsequent rows. Because of this, employees who work in multiple states are not receiving email copies of all W2's and cannot access these online.
To correct this issue, NELCO support said that an employee's email address MUST be included on every row where the employee has withholding data. This can be done by manually editing the exported file, but with over 300 lines to edit this process was quite time consuming.
The fix, if possible, is to include the email address on every row for each employee during the export process.

Yes! Almost every employee had multiple states and multiple forms, so it caused us problems.
