Add Warning Or Restriction for insufficient PTO in Employee Kiosk Upon Entry

Is there any existing feature to restrict employees from entering PTO they do not have in Employee Kiosk or entry in Pre-Time Card? Or any warnings to approvers? The closest feature I can find on this subject is creating a trigger under HR which happens much too late after the fact. Even when PTOs have been posted for an employee who doesn't have any, the earliest warning won't show up until the following period when employee's PTO balance is negative. Corrective measures then follow.

This is no longer a warning feature but mere report.
