We have a few operating companies that have a large number of employees, working in multiple states, with differing pay cycles. Currently, with the system only allowing one pay cycle at a time, the different regions are competing with each other to get their pay cycles done each week. To complicate things, because of the size, calculating each pay cycle can take upwards of an hour. They do their best to process almost all timecards in pretimecard; however, if anything goes wrong in the payment process, this can cause a log jam for the rest of the company who still need to process their payrolls. This could be resolved by having an option to process two (or more) separate pay cycles at the same time.

We have 2 companies with 4 payrolls every week. We try to run them on different schedules to avoid the issue. We can't tell without asking each other if a payroll is already in process so we have messed up payroll for each other several times when running corrections or off cycle payrolls. Incredibly annoying. The entities could at least have their own payroll processing cycle.
