Please add a notes field for invoices that have been brought into Spectrum via Automatic invoicing but cannot be immediately processed for things like PO discrepancies. It would be helpful to see at a glance why an invoice has not been processed to be able to follow up without having to drill into each invoice multiple times.

Geoff - they'd need to be visible in the Pending Automatic A/P invoices search queue area (and be able to be added in that area as well). This allows a user to "hold" the processing of that invoice until their issue/problem is resolved. They just need an easy way to segregate those invoices which should be held from being processed and an easy way to notate what the problem is that is preventing them from processing that invoice.

I agree. I would even like the flexibility of having a "Problem" button or a "Hold Processing" button from the "Pending Automatic A/P Invoices search queue" that could be selected that would then prompt the user for a note. Then the ability to FILTER for invoices that are being held for processing vs. invoices that are not being held.
I would envision that the notes only need to be retained in the "Pending Automatic Invoices" search screen. We don't need to retain these indefinitely. But we want to know why the invoices haven't been processed yet (and have them easily segregated so a user doesn't attempt to process them when processing other invoices).

It would be great to have an additional column on the grid in the pending invoices menu for notes, so we can scroll through the invoices pending at a glance. The idea is for us to have all of our invoices live in Spectrum, rather than in an email folder or on a drive somewhere.
