This is a basic feature of virtually all payroll software, ADP, QuickBooks, etc. Why on earth was this not configured within payroll module?
In our electronic world today, why can't employees receive an auto email when they are paid each week. The number of calls I receive each week because Spectrum is not user friendly on cell phones, is ridiculous.
This would be so very helpful to our employees. We waste so much time trying to help our employees with their log in so they can obtain their paystubs. A copy being emailed to them would be extremely helpful.
We are looking into paying a 3rd party to do this in a manner that aligns with our cyber security policy. If Spectrum could just email it out itself, it would solve multiple problems for us.
We use the Adobe Acrobat Pro plug-in and it is a life saver! See Bob Dialoiso's comment for instructions.
I highly recommend using the AutoDocMail plug-in to Adobe Acrobat Pro. I have implemented this solution with many of my clients and they like it. Also, there are discounts for bulk purchases...and yes, the pdf attachment can be secured (typically using the last 4 of the ssn). It seems if AP module has the ability to email the remittances to each vendor for electronic payments, that the PR module should be able to email Pay Stubs to electronic payment recipients.

For those who have used AutoDocMail, what is the workflow? Does your PR create PDFs from Spectrum manually then send them out?
I agree, people are more likely to be able to get an email vs. logging into an Employee Kiosk to retrieve the info.
Unusual that a software as robust as Spectrum does not allow for this function. We set up (and paid for) employee kiosk only to end up with employees in our office every pay period because they are unable to login. It doesn't really work on a mobile phone, which all of our field personnel are using. We are considering purchasing AutoDocMail from Evermap, but to have to purchase an additional tool seems ridiculous, particularly when much simpler accounting programs have this functionality.
The employee kiosk function in Spectrum works well. Set up a log in and give the employee security access to the employee kiosk function. They can log into Spectrum and see their pay stubs on their dashboard. They can see the current paystub as well as past paystubs. This will allow you to stop emailing out the pay stubs since the employee can access them. When the employee leaves your employment, deactivate their Spectrum access.
We use AutoSplit and AutoDocMail, which are both Adobe plugins.
Look into AutoDoc Mail its an adobe product and a one time fee (Pays for itself the first payroll)
