Currently when you attach a file in Document imaging it takes the name of the transaction, so if you have 7 attachments all would appear with the same name; name1, name2, name3 etc.. The user has to change the name of each attachment to reflect what it represents which is inefficient. Having the name of the file auto populate as the attachment would save a lot of time.

I marked this as not going to happen for the reason that it would require that we completely rewrite the DI module. Today, the file name is a combination of the year, date and sequence number. This was done to keep files unique...allowing the existng name to be used would cause files to get overridden in its current state.
